At Little Creations Childcare Centre, we offer high-quality early learning programs designed to meet the unique developmental needs of each child. Our curriculum blends the Waldorf, Reggio Emilia, and Montessori approaches to create a nurturing, play-based environment where children learn through exploration, creativity, and meaningful play and hands-on experiences.
Our Infant and Toddler Program provides a warm, loving, and secure environment where young children feel safe to explore and grow. Through responsive caregiving, sensory play, music, movement, storytelling, and nature-based experiences, we support each child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development while fostering independence and strong relationships.
At little creations Childcare Centre, every child is encouraged to learn at their own pace, discover their unique strengths, and build the confidence to thrive both in school and in life.
Seedlings Room (0 – 12 Months)
Our Seedlings Room provides a calm, loving, and secure environment where infants are nurtured through responsive, individualized care. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia, Waldorf, and Montessori approaches, our program encourages natural development through sensory exploration, meaningful relationships, and gentle routines.
Daily experiences include tummy time, music and movement, storytelling, sensory play, nature exploration, age-appropriate Montessori materials, and opportunities to develop early communication and motor skills. We follow each infant’s individual schedule for feeding, sleeping, and care, creating a strong partnership with families to ensure every child feels safe, valued, and supported as they begin their learning journey
Tiny Sprouts Room (13–24 Months)
Our Tiny Sprouts Room is designed for curious toddlers who are beginning to explore the world with growing confidence and independence. Guided by the Waldorf, Reggio Emilia, and Montessori approaches, we provide a warm, engaging environment where children learn through play, discovery, and meaningful relationships.
Our program includes sensory exploration, practical life activities, creative art, music and movement, language development, nature play, storytelling, and hands-on experiences with age-appropriate Montessori materials. Children are encouraged to make choices, develop self-help skills, build positive relationships, and express their ideas through exploration and creativity. Daily routines provide consistency, security, and opportunities for every child to grow socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively at their own pace.
Rooting Foundations Room (24–36 Months)
Our Rooting Foundations Room supports toddlers as they develop confidence, independence, and a deeper understanding of the world around them. Inspired by the Waldorf, Reggio Emilia, and Montessori approaches, we create a nurturing, child-centred environment where learning is guided by curiosity, creativity, and hands-on exploration.
Children engage in practical life activities, sensory experiences, open-ended play, creative arts, music and movement, storytelling, early language and numeracy, science and nature exploration, and collaborative projects. Through thoughtfully prepared Montessori materials, Reggio-inspired inquiry, and Waldorf’s emphasis on imagination and rhythm, children strengthen problem-solving skills, social-emotional development, communication, and self-help abilities. Our daily routines encourage respect, responsibility, and a lifelong love of learning while supporting each child to reach their full potential at their own pace.
Blooming Blossoms Room (3–5 Years)
Our Blooming Blossoms Room provides a rich, engaging learning environment where preschool children develop the confidence, skills, and curiosity needed for a successful transition to kindergarten and beyond. Guided by the Waldorf, Reggio Emilia, and Montessori approaches, we inspire children to become independent thinkers, creative problem-solvers, and compassionate members of their community.
Our program offers hands-on learning through practical life activities, literacy and numeracy experiences, science and nature exploration, creative arts, music, movement, dramatic play, and collaborative projects. Children are encouraged to investigate their interests, express themselves through multiple forms of communication, and develop critical thinking skills using carefully prepared Montessori materials and Reggio-inspired inquiry. Waldorf principles enrich the program with imaginative play, storytelling, rhythm, and meaningful connections to nature. Through a balance of structured learning and child-led exploration, we foster independence, resilience, confidence, social responsibility, and a lifelong love of learning.
