Little creations childcare centre Inc is seeking a passionate, caring, and dedicated Early Childhood Educator – Infant/Toddler (ECE-IT) to join our childcare centre in Maple Ridge. Responsibilities

  • Provide quality care and education for infants and toddlers (0–36 months).
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate learning activities based on the BC Early Learning Framework.
  • Foster children’s cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Observe, document, and communicate children’s progress with families.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and fellow educators.
  • Follow all licensing regulations, health and safety policies, and daycare procedures.
  • Assist with daily routines, including meals, diapering, toileting, rest time, and outdoor play.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and team collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Valid BC Early Childhood Educator Infant/Toddler (ECE-IT) Certificate.
  • Valid First Aid Certificate with CPR-C.
  • Clear Criminal Record Check.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Passion for early childhood education and child development.

Job Details

  • Position: Full-Time (Part-Time may be considered)
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Location: Maple Ridge, BC
  • Start Date: As soon as possible
